PRESIDENT’S AWARD
In 1979, Suzanne Allen, as president of this organization, instituted a tradition of giving a President’s Award to a member who, during the course of the previous year, had made a significant contribution, in the president’s opinion alone, to the president, to this organization or both. The criteria is to give the award to someone other than an LPI elected officer since the elected officers’ obligations to LPI are mandated by virtue of their office.
